Please contact us for pricing information and further assistance.
OBJECT DESCRIPTION
This iconic table is from the edition begun in 1963 under the supervision of Yves Klein’s widow, Rotraut Klein-Moquay, based on two models he designed in 1961. Klein died unexpectedly in 1962 and other than these two original models owned by his estate there are no vintage tables. From 1963 to the present, the Yves Klein Archives has overseen the production of this coffee table and there has only ever been the one, continuous edition. The estate does not recognize tables produced earlier in the edition as any more valuable than the brand new ones we sell today. Each table has a signed and numbered placard of authenticity issued by the estate affixed to the underside.
The table is available in the three materials most common to Klein's work: International Klein Blue (IKB) pigment, rose pigment, and gold leaf. The tables are a controlled edition which means the estate produces a limited number each year. The exact number produced of each variation is not made public though, certainly in the early years, few, if any, tables were made. Over the last decade the tables have been in more demand but no more than about 40 - 60 tables in total, inclusive of all three variations, are produced each year.
The table comes in one size, 14¼ h. x 49¼ x 39¼ inches (36 x 125 x 100 cm), and customization is not possible. The sides and base of the table are plexiglass but the top is a more durable glass making the table very functional and easy to maintain. The tables ship directly from the estate in Paris and must be installed upon arrival. If you are in the New York area then Artware will directly handle the installation. If you are elsewhere in the world, we will locate installers and oversee the process from beginning to end.

Barbara Kruger says of the collaboration:
This project has been a wonderful opportunity to work with Aalto’s classic piece of modernist furniture, while at the same time supporting the ICA, the first institution that offered me a one-person show of my work in 1983. I was honored, a bit intimidated, but hugely thrilled by both the ICA and the complex and vital city that was, is, and will always be London. The memory of that exhibition, the wonderful space, the excitement and buzz of the ICA’s program of visuality and intellectually rigorous public programming, its bookstore and crazily cool cafe, will never fade in my mind.

Landscape Mobile (Limoges)
designed 1991
porcelain and cast resin with a steel armature
22 h x 25 l x 5½ d, inches
edition of 125
Please contact us for pricing information.
OBJECT DESCRIPTION
This is the only remaining work by Lichtenstein that is on the primary market. The artist designed the work in 1991 and the last examples from the edition were not produced until 2018 by Bernardaud in collaboration with the artist's estate. Less than 10 are still available from the edition of 125 and we work directly with the original fabricator of the edition. We sell brand new examples in perfect condition.
With Landscape Mobile, Roy Lichstenstein has designed a beautiful “art system” as a table centerpiece. Invoking Alexander Calder’s standing mobiles, Lichtenstein termed this piece a “stabile", but it is in fact a non-moving object representing a tall tree set in a green basin intended to be filled with flowers. To create a sense of moveable, balancing parts, Lichtenstein added an abstracted background of clouds, rain, and a bright yellow sun. This porcelain and cast resin stabile can be viewed from all four sides and its thin profile makes it an ideal and unobtrusive centerpiece.
Manufactured by Bernardaud in Limoges, France and Artes Magnus. The edition of 125 is signed and numbered.

Kara Walker created this pop-up book in 1997. In it, she combines a narrative written in her own baroque style with her signature silhouette images. Initially conceived for the Peter Norton Family Christmas Project, this book is an excellent example of an artist successfully translating his/her visual vocabulary into a functional work while maintaining the essence of their oeuvre.
Kara Walker was born in Stockton, California and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The youngest child of a college professor/painter and a banker, she received her formal art education at the Rhode Island School of Design. Walker gained early fame for her large-scale works of precisely drawn black-paper silhouette dramas caricaturing the lives of slaves and masters in the Antebellum American South.

OBJECT DESCRIPTION
One of the things that I’m most proud of is making work that lets viewers not feel intimidated by art, but feel that they can emotionally participate in it through their senses and their intellect and be fully engaged. - Jeff Koons
The idea for a Balloon Rabbit sculpture came to Koons from his upbringing in south-central Pennsylvania. At special times of the year, people would decorate their front yard with reindeer at Christmas and inflatable rabbits at Easter. As his neighbors wished to give pleasure to other people with these decorations, the artist is proud to make art that is not intimidating for the viewers.

OBJECT DESCRIPTION
Jeff Koons playfully tests the boundaries of commerce, celebrity, banality and pleasure. In his hands even the most familiar, everyday items transcend commonality to become true icons that manifest the essence of American popular culture.
Balloon Dog is a very optimistic piece, it is a balloon that a clown would have maybe twist for you at a birthday party. But at the same time there's the profoundness of an archaic sculpture. The piece has an interior life while the reflective exterior surface affirms the viewer through their reflection. - Jeff Koons
Balloon Dog (Orange) is a limited edition work that references Koons's iconic, monumental sculpture of the same name from his highly acclaimed Celebration Series (1994) which includes five colored sculptures in red, magenta, blue, orange and yellow. The series evolved from his desire to recreate the ecstatic experiences of a child's enjoyment of the world through universal signifiers representing birthday parties and festive events.

The Center Is Everywhere
brass, cut lead crystal, electric lighting, hand-bound book
76 h. x 16 diameter inches
edition of 12 and 3 APS
(book is signed and numbered)
Please contact us for pricing information.
OBJECT DESCRIPTION
An elongated map of a specific patch of sky, The Center Is Everywhere by celebrated artist Josiah McElheny bursts with information. Though its conceptual underpinnings may elude the casual spectator, each of the work’s elements denotes a stellar corollary: the isolated crystals near the top act as single stars, globular crystal clusters signify galaxies, and the longest rods capped with lightbulbs represent distant quasars. Captivating in its lustrous sheen, the [object] obscures its astronomical origins while stoking the guileless, childlike attraction toward all that flickers and shines. (Excerpt from Taylor Walsh: Study for the Center is Everywhere)
Each of the twelve examples from this limited edition were custom-fabricated in New York City. They feature a brass canopy and more than 60 Swarovski crystals illuminated by 11 hanging bulbs. The adjustable chain allows for various ceiling heights as McElheny prefers the piece to hover 6 inches above the floor giving it a human-like scale. A signed and numbered copy of the French revolutionary Auguste Blanqui's cosmological treatise, Eternity Through the Stars: An Astronomical Hypothesis, which partially inspired McElheny, accompanies each edition. This is the first time this text has been translated from its original French into English, and is a custom-publication made for this edition.

OBJECT DESCRIPTION
Sol LeWitt’s Coffee table is one of the most historically significant examples of artist-designed furniture of the 20th century and relates both conceptually and visually to the artist’s body of work.
The history of Coffee table began in 1965 when LeWitt made his very first table by painting a white-lined grid on a painted grey, wooden top. Fifteen years later for a multiples exhibition at Marion Goodman Gallery, and as a “follow-up” to the 1965 example, LeWitt made the white-painted poplar Coffee table with an open grid pattern and a 3/8" glass top. The black walnut version was introduced soon thereafter.
Artware Editions works directly with The Estate of Sol LeWitt and is pleased to offer both variations of this table fabricated by the same exceptional craftsperson who worked with the artist during his celebrated lifetime.
Coffee table is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the artist’s estate. All tables are considered a custom order and fabricated upon receipt of payment. Please allow 6 – 8 weeks for the white table, and 8 – 10 weeks for the black walnut.

edition of 150
Produced in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation and Christopher Farr.
OBJECT DESCRIPTION
The design for this beautiful rug is based on one of Albers's studies for the design of her exceptional ark coverings for a temple in Houston. In 1956, when Temple Emanu-El began building its new Howard Meyer-designed synagogue on Hillcrest Avenue in Dallas, there would have been no more prestigious choice than Albers to design the ark coverings for its sanctuary. The eight 20-foot-high panels slide open to reveal Torah scrolls, used in some of the temple’s most sacred rituals and ceremonies. Albers based the green, blue and gold color scheme on the sanctuary’s stained-glass windows, designed by Hungarian sculptor György Kepes.

OBJECT DESCRIPTION
Balloon Swan harmonizes sexual energy. If you look at it from the front, it’s totem-like and male. If you go to the side it becomes female. Balloon Swan is reminiscent of classical works, it defines beauty as sexual harmony. - Jeff Koons
Koons had an epiphany when he first saw the swan’s two-dimensional form on the computer when he saw that it had at the same time male and female aspects. The figure of the swan has always had significant personal resonance for the artist; it was one of the first sculptures Koons made at 9 years old in ceramic, for which the young artist diligently worked on to get the angle of the neck correct.
