OBJECT DESCRIPTION

This hand-tufted wool rug by Anni Albers is based on the 1926 gouache on paper study for a wall hanging.  This timeless design is limited to 150 examples and features a neutral palette and modern geometric design.  This pattern is based on repeating and interlocking forms of stripes and blocks, created with a triple-weave technique with brown, taupe, black and grey, that weave together in a chic, latticed design.
