The Corruptible vase edition by Charles Lutz is cast from an unused 1940's era bottle that would have been intended for the christening of cruise ships and destroyers.Featured in the artist’s 2014 New Museum window installation of the same title, the bottles hung behind instructions for “How to Make an Abstract Painting” where champagne christens the canvas and “in an act of exuberant futility, another abstract painting is born.
