Teapot by David Shrigley

Each teapot is hand made in England using the traditional method of fine bone china production. Liquid clay is poured into bespoke moulds before going through twenty different hand processes and three firings in a kiln.

David Shrigley's work focuses on taking the mundane and reimagining it through a lens of childlike wonder, whimsy, and sometimes a little dry humor. His work is always unique as it embraces elements that could be deemed imperfect and this teapot, entitled The Tea is Alive, perfectly exemplifies that. Perfect for afternoon tea or as a conversation starter.
