Much of the work by British artist Rachel Whiteread studies the void or empty space surrounding a given object, and the artist designed this daybed with the same interests in mind. This custom Daybed takes the form of the empty space beneath a twin bed; the undulating surface pattern is the form beneath the mattress while the four vertical holes signify the bedposts.
The Daybed is available in a dozen soft, nubby Bute wool fabric colors.
