Skull Bunny Shopping Bag by Richard Prince was produced by Printed Matter and Art Metropole in 1991. The bag features Prince’s Skull Bunny icon on its recto and Lawrence Weiner’s work “LEARN TO READ ART” on verso. Prince's image has made appearances in his paintings, trucker hats, a surfboard, a limited edition portfolio, and in a monograph. A commentary on consumer culture and fine art, specifically in regards to sex and pornography, the image points towards the dark underbelly of these very industries.
