OBJECT DESCRIPTION
An artist collective, assume vivid astro focus has a maximalist aesthetic that is often mischaracterized as being "carnavelesque." Cheekily playing up this label, the collective used carnival themes as the source material for this sapucaí (carnaval) wall covering. The wide range of textures in this geometric abstraction is achieved by contrasting flat digital elements with organic elements like glitter, brush strokes, and paint blotches.
