You can look at the Tulips painting or the sculpture Tulips and maybe it will make you think of Spring. I have always enjoyed flowers. Since taking art lessons as a child, I have had flowers in my work. I always like the sense that a flower just displays itself. The viewer always finds grace in a flower. Flowers are a symbol that life goes forward.’’

Jeff Koons's "Split Rocker Snow Globe" was produced in 2000 by Galerie Jerome du Noirmont, France on the occasion of the exhibition "Le Beaute, Avignon." This limited edition resin and plexiglass snow globe features a brightly colored, miniature replica of the original "Split Rocker" topiary in front of the Fondation Beyeler. Edition information and artist's name are printed on the bottom of the snow globe, and the original packaging is in tact.

Created in 2003, the "Mirror Box (Kangaroo)" by Jeff Koons includes the blue kangaroo mirror, the DVD "Jeff Koons / A Man of Trust," (documentary by Judit Kele and Patrick Javault, 2002) and the custom, silver box. Each example from the edition of 2,000 is signed, dated and numbered.

Balloon Dog (Orange) is a limited edition work that references Koons's iconic, monumental sculpture of the same name from his highly acclaimed Celebration Series (1994) which includes five colored sculptures in red, magenta, blue, orange and yellow. The series evolved from his desire to recreate the ecstatic experiences of a child's enjoyment of the world through universal signifiers representing birthday parties and festive events.

This example of Jeff Koon's Puppy vase is brand new and in its original box. Incised signature, date and number to underside: [Koons '98 2807/3000]. Signed with impressed manufacturer's mark to underside: [Art of this Century]. The work was produced at Villari in Italy in 1998 and is authorized by the Artist. In addition to the 3000 numbered works and 50 APs (artist’s proofs) in the edition, there are 30 HCs (hors commerce) and 5 studio proofs, all of which have been produced. There are no prior or other editions, and the Artist has stated that he will not authorize additional casts of the work.

Koons had an epiphany when he first saw the swan’s two-dimensional form on the computer when he saw that it had at the same time male and female aspects. The figure of the swan has always had significant personal resonance for the artist; it was one of the first sculptures Koons made at 9 years old in ceramic, for which the young artist diligently worked on to get the angle of the neck correct.

Jeff Koons has been interested in cultural subject matter with widespread appeal throughout his career. It is, therefore, fitting that the monkey has been a recurring motif in his body of work. Humankind’s close kinship with primates has captured the artist’s fascination throughout history, serving as an allegorical figure for universal themes such as the pursuit of pleasure, sexuality and innocence. First conceived of in the late 1990s, the first Split Rocker was inspired by the artist's son's rocking horse and toy dinosaur, and is composed of the two animals' heads, which are split down the center and not quite conjoined into a single hybrid head. Live flowers color the sculpture, which is watered by an irrigation system within its stainless-steel armature. It was last exhibited in New York's Rockefeller Center in July 2014.
