OBJECT DESCRIPTION
City of Words is a 3D rendering based on a concept Vito Acconci has previously explored through lithography. Acconci began his career as a poet by transforming the page into a field through which the writer and reader could move. His concern with space and movement later transferred to the body and its relationship to the built environment.
Artware Editions is an approved Maharam Digital Projects retailer and offers the complete line of artist-designed digital wall coverings. These mural-style installations are sized, priced and produced on a project-specific basis. They are scalable and repeatable.

Teresita Fernández composed Sfumato from thousands of individual graphite fragments embedded into the wall and smudged to create marks suggestive of cosmic trails. In the macro view, the piece functions as a constellation while further inspection reveals the intricate surface detail of each element.
