OBJECT DESCRIPTION
Aside the Mountaintops is based on several photographs Alfred took while traveling through Japan by train in the summer of 2015. It was initiated as a large-scale painting and then recreated as a digital drawing. Through flattened planes of vivid color and detailed silhouette, Alfred reduces the landscape to its essential forms for an effect that is both expansive and immediate.
Artware Editions is an approved Maharam Digital Projects retailer and offers the complete line of artist-designed digital wall coverings. These mural-style installations are sized, priced and produced on a project-specific basis. They are scalable and repeatable.
